Infection control

Please be assured that the safety of our patients and staff is really important to us. To minimise exposure and the risk of infection, we have the following public health measures in place:

Masks

As a healthcare setting, and to protect our more vulnerable patients, our osteopaths will be wearing medical grade masks. We also ask all of our patients and visitors to wear a mask (unless exempt) in all communal areas. There is a box of masks in the waiting room if you have forgotten to bring your own. If you have a valid exemption from wearing a face mask, please let us know.

Hand sanitiser

Hand sanitiser is available in the waiting room for you to use when you enter and when you leave. There is also hand sanitiser in all the treatment rooms.

Ventilation

In line with best practice, we aim to keep our treatment rooms and waiting room well-ventilated.

Treatment rooms

We use disposable paper coverings on the treatment couch and pillows and this is changed between patients. We also thoroughly clean the couch itself and disinfect high-touch surfaces. Your osteopath will wash their hands before starting your treatment and will be wearing a medical grade mask.

COVID-19 testing

All of our osteopaths regularly take COVID-19 lateral flow tests. We hope that this will reassure you that we are doing all that we can to keep you safe.

Symptoms

If you are feeling unwell, have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19 or have any COVID-19 symptoms, please call the Practice so that we can rearrange your appointment.

If you have any questions or specific requests about your visit, please discuss these with us when you make your appointment.
